Roland Horat is a highly experienced project management and controls practitioner with more than 30 years experience in the engineering, procurement, contract and construction management business servicing a wide range of industries including communications, commercial building construction, defence, infrastructure, industrial and mining projects throughout Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, and the US. Roland is the Managing Director of Supertech Project Management (Australia) and Chief Executive Officer of the Supertech Global group of companies.
 
Roland guides an experienced team of local and internationally based project controls and management specialists imbedded with clients in a wide range of industries. His specialists undertake project audits for compliance to CPM and EVPM criteria, undertake project management systems upgrades, provide project management support, provide advice on and implement project and program Earned Value reporting systems.  Frustrated with the range and complexity of available project control software, Roland and his team have developed the EVEngine™ range of easy to use Microsoft Excel based utility programs to undertake cost effective EVPM project control, financial management and schedule tracking.  Roland’s other expertise lies in the forensic investigation of project performance, claims analysis and preparation.  Roland in collaboration with his team of Microsoft Office Project, Primavera and EVPM subject matter experts have developed a range of industry courses that are delivered through the classroom and webinars.
 
Roland has a Bachelor Engineering, Monash University, Post Graduate Diploma Project Management, CIT. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as the College of Performance Management.
 


  Roland Horat
     

James Bulmer has 15 years of experience in the microcomputer field and over 25 years of experience in the computer/communications industry. His experience includes systems analyst/project manager for Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, Superintendent of Central Computing for DOMTAR Ltd., Account Manager/Senior Consultant for Systemhouse Ltd., Manager of Education Services for Data Logic Canada, and then Cognos Incorporated, co-founder of The Futures Education Group Inc and Senior Associate with the Project Management Practice, Inc. James has over 25 years experience as a management consultant for organizations ranging from Microsoft Corporation, to Abbott Labs, to Ernst & Young to Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

He is Chief Operations Officer of Supertech Project Management Inc, and Director Marketing ,Global. Of the Supertech Group of companies.

James has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec. He is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as the College of Performance Management. James is a MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) (MCP), as well as a MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) in Managing Projects with Microsoft Office 2007 and Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft Office Project Server 2007).
 


  James Bulmer
     

James Sykes has an accomplished engineering background with a wealth of project and general management experience servicing the Formula 1 Motor Racing and the plastics industry. In more recent times, James has been involved in the development of software for the business continuity and health and safety markets and in particular for the management of the risks associated with asbestos together with the planning and managing of asbestos removal projects. James brings a wealth of experience to the group in industrial project management.

Trained as a Mechanical Engineer in England and Germany, James added a Post Graduate Diploma in Export marketing to his expertise. James is the Managing Director of Supertech Project Management (Europe) Ltd and responsible for the sales and implementation of the Supertech’s range of project management products.
 
 


  James Sykes
     

Chandra Bhuta is the Retired Associate Professor Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia, with 40 years experience in both the academic world and working directly in the international construction business.

Chandra has a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering), Master of Science (Civil Engineering) both from University of Kansas, Lawrence Kansas.  He is a member of FIEAust; MAIPM, and MPMI and as former University Course Director for Masters and Graduate Diploma of Project Management and is therefore eminently qualified to be Supertech’s Director, Global Education Services.

Chandra’sengineering expertise lies in the area of construction methods, risk management, life cycle cost evaluation and prediction.

Chandra has developed a teaching assessment system in collaboration with government and private industry to make project management courses relevant to industry best practice, through teaching real life case studies. This valued experience is incorporated in all Supertech course delivery material.
